Jimenez named BHC Police Officer of the Year 

BULLHEAD CITY – The Bullhead City Police Department recognized police officers and staff who have contributed in a special way to help others and improve public safety. On Wednesday, during the 2022 Annual Awards Program, Officer John Jimenez was named Police Officer of the Year.
Officer Jimenez began his career with the Bullhead City Police Department in 2018 as a Property and Evidence Custodian. He then furthered his law enforcement career by attending the Western Arizona Law Enforcement Training Academy (WALETA) and became a Bullhead City Police Officer in 2020.
He is a dedicated employee who is always willing to cover shifts or take on extra duties without hesitation. His co-workers appreciate his positive attitude and dependability. He treats everyone with respect and is a positive role model for other officers.
Officer Jimenez is Vice President of Shop with a Cop non-profit organization and is involved with the FOP Santa Sleigh program and numerous other community events including, the Bicycle Safety Rodeo, Special Olympics and the Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run.
