MOHAVE COUNTY – Democrats had small leads over Republicans in five of the six major state races in Arizona following Tuesday’s general election. Results remain unofficial as thousands of votes will be processed and added to the ongoing tally in coming days.
As of early Wednesday morning:
*Democrat Mark Kelly (51.9%, 918,058) led Republican Blake Masters (45.9%, 811,120) by 106,938 votes in Arizona’s U.S. senate race.
*Democrat Katie Hobbs (50.9%, 894,081) led Republican Kari Lake (49.1%, 864,008) by 30,073 votes in the Governer’s race.
*Democrat Adrian Fontes (52.9%, 918,804) led Republican Mark Finchem (47.1%, 817,145) by 101,659 votes in the Secretary of State contest.
*Democrat Kris Mayes (50.6%, 875,281) led Republican Abe Hamadeh (49.4%, 853,076) by 22,705 votes in the battle for Attorney General.
*Democrat Kathy Hoffman (50.3%, 867,891) led Republican Tom Horne (49.7%, 769,996) by 10,671 votes in the race for Superintendent of Public Instruction.
*Republican Kimberly Yee (55.3%, 951,324) led Democrat Martin Quezada (44.7%, 769,996) by 181,328 votes in the State Treasurer race.
