KINGMAN – Three local teenagers were arrested after police responded to a report of a vehicle burglary in progress. Officers responded to the 3200 block of Yuma Street at about 6:20 a.m. on Tuesday, October 4.
“Subjects were located and after a short foot pursuit the female juvenile was captured,” said Deputy police chief Joel Freed. He said the 15-year-old girl possessed a handgun.
Freed said officers were also able to catch the 14 and 16-year-old males who were hiding in the area.
“Some property stolen from the vehicles has been recovered, including multiple firearms,” Freed said. “All three juveniles admitted their involvement and were booked into the Mohave County Juvenile Detention Center.”
Detectives are trying to determine if the trio can be linked to other crimes as the investigation continues.
