KINGMAN – Lee Williams High School Volunteers Boys Golf Team hosted against Bradshaw Mountain and Mohave High Schools at Kingman Cerbat Cliffs Golf Course, on Tuesday, September 13.
Coach Scott Lander announced LWHS team won overall at 161 for the Volunteers, team scores of 180 for Bradshaw Mountain Bears and 236 for Mohave Thunderbirds.
Lee Williams Volunteers also took the lead with individual finishes; Robert Brackett (SR) won the afternoon nine-hole match with two under par at 34, Jacob Lander (SO) at 37, Brodie O’Banion (JR) at 44, and Caden Moore (SR) at 46, Ethan Arney (JR) at 46, Slade Fisk (SO) at 52.
Bradshaw Mountain Bears top 3 finishes were Andrew Reynolds (SR) tied at second with a 37, Jeremy Reynolds (SO) at 39, and Brody Jewett (JR) at 47.
Mohave Thunderbirds top 3 finishes were Grant Collins (JR) at 49, Brandon Collins (SO) at 51, and Mason Hess (SR) at 57.
The highlights for Volunteers of the day included Jake Lander’s “Eagle” on hole #7 and “Birdie” on hole #4; both were par-5 holes. Volunteer Senior Robert Brackett’s highlights were “Birdie” on holes #5, #7, and #9. Brackett also had a challenging moment behind a tree on hole #3 after the second shots but managed to finish with a par-4. Brackett won with only one “bogey, and par(s) on the majority.
