KINGMAN – The Volunteers had plenty of reasons to celebrate their 50-6 win over Estrella Foothills this past Friday. It was Homecoming weekend and the crowd was loud and in high spirits. The Volunteers football team fed off the energy, pretty much scoring at will, starting the game with three touchdowns scored in the first quarter. However, the tone was set by the defense of Lee Williams. The defense only allowed Estrella Foothills to have 119 total yards of offense. Sophomore Jose Abrego started the game tackling the opposing running back in the backfield for a loss on back-to-back plays letting know Estrella Foothills they were in for a long night.
