Schaal charged in child sex exploit case
BULLHEAD CITY – A Bullhead City woman faces three counts of sexual exploitation of a minor and more charges are possible through a continuing investigation. Police spokeswoman Emily Fromelt identified the suspect as Tina Marie Schaal, 39.
“Earlier this month, Homeland Security Investigations (HIS) contacted Bullhead City detectives regarding their investigation into a Bullhead City woman and information they had received from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children,” Fromelt said in a news release. “It was learned that Tina Schaal was actively trading images of child exploitive materials utilizing Facebook Messenger.”
Fromelt said authorities seized electronic devices as evidence during a June 17 search of Schaal’s residence in the 1600 block of Dean Drive.
