We were driving back from visiting the Grand Canyon West and were planning a stop at the Trading post again. Pulled into the place and were so shocked to see it had burned down. Hoping they will rebuild. So sorry for their loss. 🙏😢

So sad. Just drove by what’s left of the building coming back from Vegas today. The wife and I would always stop there on the way to get snacks and drinks. We are glad no one was hurt and hope they can someday rebuild. A piece of our trips to Vegas will always be missed.

My heart breaks for the owners of the Trading Post. It was the one place everyone stopped to get gas, a bite to eat, find a few special trinkets or find that very special personal fine jewelry piece to add to their collection. The store may be gone, the pumps may be down, but you can always travel a short distance north and stop by Luchia’s to still find unique jewelry pieces or enjoy a great meal and be sure to purchase one of the many different Pies made fresh daily.
My thoughts and prayers are with the owners and all their employees. Thank God no one was hurt!

So sad for your loss we were so surprised to see it gone today as we drove by. Any ideas how the fire started?

I’ve been going here since 1989. I’ve bought a lot of jewelry and eaten a lot of breakfast here. This saddens us so. We sure are glad no one was hurt and we hope you rebuild. 🙏🙏

I’m so sorry for the loss of such a wonderful place. We would stop every time we came through town. We loved the deep dish cherry pie and I have many dream catchers in my home that came from the trading post. Love you Teresa and the rest of the wonderful crew and am so thankful nobody was hurt. Just an FYI we lost Mom in late January.

The whole world is such a mess especially since the election that when we lose a source of comfort or normality it’s even more painful and unsettling. Thank heaven no one was hurt, yet the loss is still painful. Rebuild.

My sister-in-law and I were just there over Mother’s Day Weekend. We always stop in on our way to Laughlin. Glad to hear no was hurt. Please say you are going to rebuild. Just won’t be the same if we can’t pop in on our way to and from Laughlin or Vegas.
